I wrote a little WordPress plugin for adding Dublin Core metadata.
Dublin Core metadata
Dublin Core metadata is a set of standards, used to describe “things” to make them discoverable.
This plugin only deals with the DC Metadata Element set v1.1:

The elements above get, if they have a value, added to the
<head>. The values get determined automatically, but most values can be overwritten on individual posts.
Unlike other WordPress plugins, this one let’s you pick a syntax: HTML4, XHTML or HTML5. This is great, since the current plugins don’t support HTML5.
Since Dublin Core Element Set v1.1 describes documents, the meta tags only get added on pages, posts and custom post types.
